In the 1980's Dr. Demento was a very popular nationally syndicated radio program specializing in humor-related music from all over the globe. I created my first hit, "Duck Butter" as Skrooz Lewis while living in Houston, Texas. The good Doctor loved it. Although not a huge success, it was one of his favorites.
